Area Under The Flow Curve Calculator

Use this calc to compare different heads to see which one has a better area under the curve flow.
The head with the most flow may not be the best head.
This calculator will show which one has the most flow 'under the curve'.

Use the flow of your head at each increment to figure what the 'area under the curve' is.
The CFM must be measured at 28 in/Hg depression.
If your cam lift is less than what the max flow of the head is, use the flow up to the cam lift.
(that is if the cam lift is .600 just input head flows to .600 lift)

Use this calculator to compare two different heads to see which may be higher output.
The one that has a higher CFM flow under the curve will probably make more HP.
